JODY HANEKE INVITED TO JUDGE INTERNATIONAL WEBBY AWARDS FOR 3RD CONSECUTIVE YEAR
Haneke Design president Jody Haneke has been invited to serve as a judge for the 21st Annual Webby Awards, the elite international awards program sponsored by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS).
Founded in 1998, the IADAS helps drive the creative, technical, and professional progress of the Internet and evolving forms of interactive media. Last year, Haneke was formally invited to become a member of IADAS, a global organization of industry experts and technology innovators. He has served as a Webby Awards judge since 2014.
“I’m honored to continue serving as a judge for the Webbys,” said Haneke. “I’ve been privileged to review some of the finest creative work from agencies and artists around the world. The competition grows more intense each year, and the talent that much more extraordinary. It makes me incredibly proud of the achievements of the global design world, and excited to be a part of this amazing profession.”
The Webby Awards is the leading honors program for websites and individual achievement in technology and creativity, establishing best practices on a yearly basis and pushing the standards of web development continually higher.
As he has done in years past, Haneke will judge entries submitted for consideration in the Webby’s Mobile Sites & Apps category, which honors a range of apps and experiences from messaging and shopping to connected products and streaming video. The winners will be announced at the 21st Annual Awards Gala in New York in Spring 2017.
Haneke Design has been an Honoree for multiple Webby Awards, including the Tie the Knot mobile app and responsive e-commerce web site PrayerBowls.com.
